When I click on newer posts at you web site to see what is there that is where the Apple Cinnamon Bread recipe is but when I try to download it you have to get this tool bar.

Hi Helen, I'm not sure what you are looking at, but here is the link I gave in my cinnamon bread post:

None of the things I've posted requires you to download a toolbar first. I believe you are probably clicking on something in the wrong direction from my blog. scroll to the very, very bottom of my blog and you will see written directions on how to download my printables.You don't have to click on anything.

I tried again and I click on where it says click here for download and you get the receipe but not the instructions.It tells you to download that bar. O well, I will just forget it. I have been downloading stuff now for around 10 years.

Hi Helen, you are right there are no instructions. Just a video. SO I watched the video and wrote down the directions as it went along. Here it is. I have a recipe that is very similar to this and have baked it in a 9X12 pan like cake instead of bread so I imagine either would be fine. I noticed in the video that her apples are peeled which I usually don't do, but again either is fine. It is really delicious.
Apple Pie Bread
• 1/2 cup butter, melted
• 1 cup buttermilk
• 1 1/2 cup brown sugar, packed
• 1 egg, beaten
• 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
• 2 1/4 cups all-purpose flour
• 1 teaspoon baking soda
• 1/2 teaspoon salt
• 1 teaspoon cinnamon
• 2 cups apples, diced
•
• CRUMB TOPPING
• 1/3 cup all-purpose flour
• 1 teaspoon cinnamon
• pinch of cloves
• pinch of nutmeg
• 1/2 cup brown sugar, packed
• 2-3 Tablespoons butter, melted
Preheat oven top 325
Pour cool melted butter in mixing bowl Add buttermilk and brown sugar Stir in the beaten egg and vanilla
Stir well set aside
In another separate bowl add flour, baking soda, and salt, stir it together
Then make a little well in the flour mixture and add the liquid mixture to the flour and stir well.
Add chopped apples and mix. Batter is pretty thick
Pour into buttered loaf pan
For the crumb topping
In a bowl add Flour, cinnamon, spices, Brown sugar, stir and add the butter and cut it in or blend with fork until crumbly.
Top the loaf pan of batter with the crumb mixture
Bake at 325 for 1 hour & 20 minutes. Bread is done when a toothpick inserted in the middle comes out clean. Baking times will vary so check it often after 1 hour.
