Subject: OT poem needed

Hi All

We are having a Mother's Day Tea at the local Senior Center & I would love a poem for the occasion. Something to do with us having each other to rely on since most of our mothers are gone & how we are like a big family. Know one of you poets will come up with just the right poem.
Thanks in advance.

Hugs
Virginia

Hi Virginia, I hope this helps

The word Mother brings caring thoughts to mind
Although a perfect definition is quite hard to find.
A Mother is special, soothing and soft,
A Mother is there when you've sneezed or coughed,
Mothers have magical ways to make us feel fine,
They've taught each of us how to grow and shine.
Whoever our Mothers were, they sure live in our heart
For their spirit lives on and we can now do our part.
We are one big family and on each other rely,
We're there for one another as we laugh or cry.
We share special times and we try to lend a hand,
Belonging to the Senior Center makes us feel special and grand!
Happy Mothers' Day!
