Subject: 50th Birthday
In a couple of weeks, my little brother will be 50. He had a great time teasing me when I celebrated mine so it is pay back time. I have come up with a fun idea for his birthday gift.
It will be in three boxes.
Number 1 will have somethings that remind him of his youth
- pictures
- figure of Fred Flinestone and Dino (he ran home every day at lunch to watch the Flinestone's)
Number 2 will be for now - his birthday gift which is a shirt and cap
Number 3 will be for the future........gag gifts such as magnifing glass and a bunch of other things which I haven't bought yet. Stuff to help him out in his old age (no teeth cups cuz I will get razzed. I have a denture and he has own teeth -heeheehee)
I know that he won't read stuff out to people (he can be shy) but I was wondering if someone could write a short poem that he can read before he starts which will give him a clue about box 1, 2 & 3.
His name is Kenny!
Thanks
Jan

O little brother of mine---
your birthday's here & Its PAYBACK time!!!
Since teasing is what you like to do,
here is a teasing game for you!!!
50 years have come and gone
think back to your youth as you open box #1.
Remember how Every day at lunch
you couldn't miss the Flintstone bunch?!
Now all I want to hear from you
is a heartfelt..."Yabba dabba do!"
Enough with strolling memory lane,
before your curiosity starts to wane...
Someone who is turning 50
needs my help to still look nifty...
so open box 2 here and now,
then put it on and take a bow!
Box #3 looks to the years ahead
use its contents--enough be said!
The teasing game comes to its end
for little brother full of wind...
I love you Kenny like no other
you are my favorite little brother.
