Subject: Help for boys 13th Birthday?
Help...Help...Please! My grandson will be turning 13 and I am sending out my SOS for help. Any ideas for this special birthday? Caution...he is a kid that has everything..
I would like to make this day special...any gift ideas? places to go? Trying to make this memorable....I am in a brain freeze mode and cannot think of a single thing. In the past I have given money several different ways, i.e. a sandwich lunch with money in it, a photo album with money if he answered special moments he needed to remember...So I do hope you clever and talented ladies can suggest anything for me. Hugs of thanks, as always

My grandson will be 13 in July, i asked him...He said have some friends over for a bar-b-que, then all of them go the movies, or arcade, or a place that has lazer tag. Hope this helps..

My son just turned 13 on Sunday...he had some friends over and basically just wanted to hang out, play video games/watch tv and have pizza. If it had been nicer they would have been out with the go carts and things. But he would have been fine with exactly what Shilo said--arcade and lazer tag and the movies.
I hope whatever he gets to do, he has fun!

When my nephew turned 13 my sister in law had it at Pizza Hut, I froze 20.00 in dollar bills, change in a fish mold that I purchased at a thrift store. He loved it and said it was fun waiting for it to unthaw before he got out the cash, I gave it to him with the cold hard cash poem. Wish I still had a photo but my computer froze up and lost all those old photos. The reason I used a fish mold is because my husband and I had taken him on his first fishing trip for a week when he was 5. I took his gift in a small cooler until it was gift giving time.
Cold Hard Cash Poem
I do not know who wrote these found them on another site as mine is lost
Been from store to store
Looking for just the right gift
I couldn't find it anywhere
It really had me miffed
And so I decided
After making my mad dash
The best thing I could give you
Would be some cold hard cash.
It was time to go shopping,
Didn't know what to do
Wanted to get something
Perfect, as special as you.
As I sat there in panic,
The answer came in a flash-
Along with warm, loving thoughts
Give the kid COLD, HARD CASH!
Oh HINT I froze layer at a time say 2 inches of water with pennies, quarters, nickels and dollars--let freeze then add more money and more water.
