Snowman pin from 2002 Christmas swap

Postby bakrbabe (Rita) » Wed Feb 18, 2004 1:48 pm

To make the snowman pin, I used a stick pin, some I was lucky to find others had this weird little thing on the top so I cut it off..
ok so supplies
stick pin
black paint scribbles
black seed bead
black sequin
white beads two sizes (these were glass beads I picked up not sure size)
red floss
black and orange sharpie pens
I used E6000 glue as well.
start with stick pin add the black seed bead then the sequin
with a little glue on a tooth pick add it to the stick pin where the small white
bead will go (this helps the bead stay in place) again with the glue add for the
next white bead. then I tie the floss around the neck and then trim it.
I add the black scribbles paint at this time to the top of the snowman hat. and stick the pin in Styrofoam to dry.
After the glue dries I use the sharpie pens to add a face and buttons down the front.
