not sure if this is what you're looking for and I didn't go into Craftsayings but just typed in angel towel and came up with this one:

http://westwood.fortunecity.com/ghost/8 ... angels.htm
for the bunny towel:

If you can't get into them for some reason, let me know and I'll cut/paste the directions and send them.

Happy crafting!

How about this? (Did this one really quickly....I might come up with something better later!)

Kelli

If you hang me in your garden
Your crows I'll try to scare,
But I really wouldn't feel at home
Since I don't belong out there.

I started as a dish towel
So perhaps, (with LOTS of wishes!),
You can put me in your kitchen
And I'll scare away dirty dishes!

Dish towel saying

Date Posted: 10:03:31 01/30/04 Fri

Subject: Dish Towel Gift Saying

I am looking for a poem I read somewhere to go with a gift of a dish towel. It went something like telling all the things a dish towel has been used for like a mom washing away the tears of her children, etc but concludes but the greatest use of the towel was when Jesus washed the feet of the disciples or something like that. I read it and thought I had it marked somewhere but I can't find it now. Any help would be greatly appreciated!

Thank you!

[> Re: Dish Towel Gift Saying -- Dant-doe, 11:04:30 01/30/04 Fri [1]

Here is the one I have saved, I don't know who wrote it, so if anyone does, please let us know.

At first glance, one looks at a towel and thinks, "Wow, a towel... I need a new one. The old ones are getting stained and worn." But have we ever stopped to think that for years, even thousands of years, the towel has not just been used in the kitchen and bathroom, but for a variety of reasons?

Take example the mother who wipes the tears of a child to soothe the physical and emotional hurt, the physician who binds the wound of a bleeding patient, the woman in her home, wiping her hands as she moves from task to task, the weary traveler who wipes his sweated brow.

Some other examples would be the manager of a boxer who "throws in the towel" to save the life of his protégé or the young man wiping the grease off his hands as he fixes his old jalopy.

Notwithstanding all of the above examples, perhaps the most significant use of the towel was about two thousand years ago when our loving Brother took an ordinary towel in his hands and dried the feet of the disciples only hours before his crucifixion.

Sure, the towel is a handy item with a myriad of uses, but it also has deep symbolic meaning when seen in the hands of the Savior doing a work of kindness for His fellow men. So take this towel, knowing it is given with love, and do works of goodness with it, as the Savior worked goodness with His so many years ago.

Oh, thank you so much! Yes that is the one I was looking for! Oh you don't know how much I appreciate this!

And I’m sending it your way just for you,
Peek inside there is lots to see,
Cute little soaps to wash away the blues!
I thought it would make a great gift,
For someone really neat,

I made one of these cakes, and it really was easy to make...also, turned out really nice..It was for a friend, and she wanted with a satin finish, so I wrapped satin material around the outside of the layer...it is a wonderful gift, as well as fun to do.

So fuzzy and cute,
Was made with love,
Especially for you!

or,

This little kitty,
Sits upon your shelf,
She never makes a sound,
Never cries for help.
She's just a little pretty,
For everyone to see,
Made just for you,
With lots of love from me!

maybe these will work?

LINK: KITCHEN BRITCHES

Subject: kitchen towel craft question

Ladies I would like your help. I saw this idea posted on another board, but I would like "see them" or something similar. I'm a visual person and need to see things before I understand directions. Do you have any suggestions for search terms or sites. I have used "kitchen towel crafts" on google and found some interesting things but not what I'm looking for. Here is the description of the idea.

I have put two dish towels, folded the long way, and tied the center together,,,ribbon thru the top and ribbon in two sections of the bottom and voila..a pair of britches. The cute saying that went with this was something to the effect, 'britches....pull the ribbons and you have a cloth to wipe your dishes...

Thanks for your help.
