Subject: Bottle caps
Has anyone made anything out of the soda or beer caps? Someone said you make jewelery by putting a hole in the top to put a jump ring and putting a picture inside the cap. I think resin might be used over this. I have only been able to get bits and pieces about the whole concept but have a large bag of caps that I'd like to get rid of. BUT don't know if I want a bracelet or necklace out of beer caps either. lol Maybe a magnet for the fridge? Just wondering if anyone ever made anything they liked out of the caps since I have a large supply.
Taverns or bars will give you as many as you want.

I have a few & a friend sent me some. I love them & will have to ask around for more. Here are some projects I have done with them:
bracelets, necklaces
trivets - by linking 3x3 lids together with jump rings
magnets - punch out a circle to fit & glue inside. add magnet to back
crochet over them to make bracelets, trivets, ornies, etc.
Try googling bottle cap crafts. You will be surprised at how creative some people are.

This is an outdoor thing--
Paint, or make large flowers for a wooden wall or fence, and nail the metal bottle caps to the wall for stems. Use green plastic bottles to cut leaves. I have seen this several places--garden sites, pinterest and blogs.
