i made mine by just cutting a branch that was what i liked. then i spray painted it white. got a bonsai tree post in a color i liked. made up some plaster of paris and planted the "tree" in the plaster while still wet to "grow". then i just started decorating with lights and decorations. that was years ago and it is still a growin. also did the same for a halloween tree. try it. gayle

I got a 2 ft. artificial Christmas tree and gonna spray paint it pink or yellow and decorate that. Linda aka Retschoolmarm

Last year I saw them at AC Moores, but Michaels might have them too. They have Valentine and St Pat out but I don't think they have anything Easter yet.

I use 2 wire ornament trees (usually 1 @ a time) my daughter gave me, I LOVE them! I just change the ornaments according to the holiday. One holds about 40 ornaments, the other is smaller and shaped like an umbrella. I've seen both on eBay. It's so much fun collecting the small ornaments. Right now it's gorgeous with my Valentine assortment. ~marlene V.

I'm going to try to spell the name of this tree/shrub - it's Manzanita and it's found on the west coast - very interesting shapes - I spray painted mine white and anchored it in a one pound coffeee can with plaster or Paris... You can always used different colors of fabric to cover the base according to the time of year - Michaels also carries the wire tree and I remember $$$ Store had them a few years ago. HTH

If you have a Dollar Tree store in your area, they have really cute ones for $1.00. I have seen them also at Wal-Mart for about $ 5.00. My aunt would make her own using a tree branch. She would paint it white, pink for daughter and add all the decorations. She would place the planter inside an Easter basket. This is less expensive. She added ribbons on the plastic eggs and hung them on the tree. She even used a sodder gun and burned small holes around the plastic eggs. Put a ribbon on top and she filled them up with potpourri and hung them on the tree. This made her house smell beautiful.
