Subject: OT ~ square tissue box cover

Haven't posted much lately. Do stop by and read a couple of posts on the first page or two.

I need a quick and easy pattern for a square tissue box cover. Any help or ideas would be appreciated. I usually can come up with something ~ but guess because I am in a hurry ~ I am drawing a blank.

Thanks for any help. I did a google search ~ but didn't see anything that I liked.

For boutique tissue? The Dollar General brand tissues are bigger thann the ones at any other store I've seen. Anyway I make up my own patterns but the size I go by is sides 33 holes wide and 41 holes high. I also add a solid bottom to my boxes and a lift off top due to having to make them bigger to accomodate the Dollar general size.

Here's my Plastic Canvas tissue box cover I made many years ago. L@@k closely at 1 of the small squares and you will see that there are 7 varying sizes of stitches. Starting with the smallest stich, work down to finish one square, then up to finish the next square in the horizontal row until the whole side of the tissue box is finished. Hope this helps.

Thanks everyone for your help. I do like the plastic canvas one. Will save picture for future use.

What I didn't mention was that I was looking for a fabric one. Blazer sent me one ~ I think I can figure it out by following her directions.
