Hi,
I usually double it have a second one to stitch together that way the back would loook nice,or just do one sided then glue white felt on the back of it,cut out to the shape of it.Good Luck

i would also glue felt to one side or stitch 2 pieces together.

I make both sides of my plastic canvas look the same by wrapping the yarn as I do it. It is hard to explain but I will try, if when you are working up the row come up the top right hole and go down the bottom left each square, If you are working down the row come up the bottem left and down the top right each quare. That way you are doing the same thing on each side. Hope you can understand this, it is easier to show than to tell how to do it. It sound difficult, but it real easy once you get the hang of it.

One thing that will help is to try to run the ends of your yarn behind the same color. Also make sure when working from right to left come up at the bottom and down at the top. When working from left to right come up at top and down at bottom. Stitches should look slanted on back as well as front. Hope this helps.
