Hi thought I would share this. I went to a church Christmas luncheon today and one of the young girls I know was wearing the cutest red necklace with a white flower on it. It looked really Christmas-y and cute! She said she made it from a t-shirt and told me how she did it---it sounded so easy I ran right over to Micheals---after lunch--(BIG SALE)and bought a t-shirt. I came home and looked it up and come to find out they are VERY popular! She told me they were selling at the boutiques for about 18 dollars---My shirt cost around 2--what a profit! Anyway I think I'll be making some for the girls on my Christmas list. If you are interested there are lots of examples other than this one if you google T-shirt necklace or T-shirt crafts. There are also flowers to make that you could pin on--- this was so adorable--it really jazzed up her jeans! You could also use up shirts you don't where anymore--how inexpensive is that!

Wow, thanks for sharing. That will make a perfect, inexpensive gift for some of the girls on my Christmas list too! If anyone here needs a quick, cute and popular gift for someone this is certainly a contender. I have seen them but didn't know how easy it would be. All you do is cut strips from the tshirt!

Check your Dollar Tree for even cheaper tee shirts.

Those are really cute necklaces.
