Our Humming Birds seem to only like the small
silver dollar sized tube feeders I have used for about 5 years !
Gotta try to make one like this and see,
if they will use it !

Very interesting post and project.
Just wanted to point out that there's a Safety Update by the author that maybe you should read too.
