Subject: Latest Project- $ Tree Hand care kit

I used the little sample sized hand lotion and the dollar tree manicure kit.

I made the little box and used a paper clip to close the top. I hope they will sell at the upcoming church bazaar!

Here's the poem - I found part of it in the archives-no author though, and I finished it.

Our hands were made for helping
As gifts from God above
He asks that we would use them
As extensions of His love
So use your hands to do
Good things the whole day through
And pamper them a little bit
With this hand care kit!

Bonnie, what a great poem to accompany your gift set. I hope you sell lots and lots of them.

What a nice little gift set. I'm sure they'll go over well. And your packaging & poem will make them extra special.

Bonnie, did you make the box using a 12 X 12 sheet of cardstock and the envelope punch board and if so, what were your punch and score measurements?

Yes, I did use the envelope board. I used the tool here on The Crafty Owl http://thecraftyowl.co.uk/boxbuster/
To give me the measurements. The paper is 9 3/8" square and I punched/scored 1 7/8" from each corner-flip the paper over to get the opposite corners. Thanks for asking!

Thanks Bonnie for the site and the dimensions you used. That lady's blog is interesting too. For a larger box I found the directions for using a 12 X 12 sheet of cardstock which you punch and score at 3 inches all around, then flip over and repeat. The corners are then folded in on the score lines and glued in place. Gotta love that envelope punch board. I use mine a lot.

Bonnie really cute idea. That poem was written for me several years ago when I gave Bath & Body hand lotion to
workers on our mission trip.
