Ideas: Games/Categories for Prizes - Mother/Daughter Dinner

Subject: would like games about chickens, eggs, worms, corn--"Hen Party"

Yep, it's me again. I am looking for different and/or unusual games to play at our Mother-Daughter Dinner. I'm going to have the Guess How Many Worms are in the Jar. I was going to use real nightcrawlers and my DH didn't think the ladies would appreciate that. I of course thought it would be funny. I thought about "Chick" Bingo and use words pertaining to the chicken coop instead of numbers. The last one to arrive will get the worms (instead of the early bird getting the worm it will be the last to arrive) I was thinking of the usual oldest mother, youngest mother thing and wanted something different there too, different categories using like the oldest chick, something like that. I want to do the chicken dance, of course. Sorry I got so long winded on this one. Any ideas?

Will you be using live worms or gummy worms? lol
Sounds like you have a lot of good ideas for games related to your theme.
I really like the chicken dance thing too.
Wish I could help with your idea for the oldest and youngest but don't have any ideas on that. Hopefully someone will come up with something.
I will be following this. We are planning a hen party for our ladies at church later in the year.
We gonna do the chicken dance too!

How about the chicken that has the most chicks (children)?

Maybe the chick who flew (drove) the farthest?

Maybe the one that flew the coop? LOL!

How about "old biddie".........shame on me! Well, I am old so don't feel bad! Give a trophy with the inscription, "I was the oldest biddie at the M/D banquet 2005"
Someone else can figure one out for the youngest.

I do 2 trophies at my family reunion...one for the oldest, I have it inscribed to read..."I am old as dirt" It's all in fun anyway.
The other is for the one who traveled the farthest.

hey Mert,
Can you do something with rubber chickens. I saw some at my dollar store yesterday, but as you know I live in Canada, and what you find here, you can usually find there.
you could have a rubber chicken race. Some thing to think about.

Which Dollar store did you find them? (Family Dollar, Dollar Genral or Dollar Tree) I do need some rubber chickens. Our theme for pastor appreciation is "the Pastor's BBQ" so we were needing some rubber chickens. Will be needing them for our Hen Party in the Fall too.

those chickens were at our Buck or Two store.
Items cost between $1 and some a little more.

We did this at a party at my house, we hid corn and when a person found a corn that was hid they clucked, it was so funny to hear all the clucks, and you could give a prize to the person who finds the most. hUgs, Meme
