Subject: Veteran's Day Ideas
I would like a quick idea for Veteran's Day! Especially, for a Christian Veteran, as this will be used at a church dinner. Like a favor using candy or some small token using a poem that I've seen... about the only "people that have died for us..God & a Veteran" or something to that effect! Thanks!!

Maybe these will spark your imagination:
Badge idea - make a badge from fun foam or card stock. Add a crepe paper ruffle or ribbon, with sayings like the following & add a pin back:
Have you hugged a Veteran today?
Remember our fallen Veterans
If you enjoy freedom, thank a Veteran
Kiss me - I'm a veteran
Jesus Christ & US veterans -
are the only ones that have
ever offered to die for you.
Freedom isn't free
All gave some; some gave all.
Remember those who served.
Thank you for your service.
Thank you for our freedom.
Love is.....
hugging a veteran
Lucky pennies
Veterans deserve a lot of praise.....
For they gave up their youthful days,
To serve the country that they Love....
We ask God to bless them from above.
Here's a Lucky penny for the Vet......
A year full of Luck is what I hope you get.

This one was written for servicemen but if you change serve to "served" it would be appropriate too.
A Lucky Penny for those who serve.....
Best Wishes and Luck is what you deserve....
Along with prayers and gratitude too....
I hope this Penny brings luck in all that you do..
