Has anyone done this, or has a site? I'm not a poet at all. Even my great poems would be classified as unbelievably stupid.

Hope this helps...

Hot chocolate will warm
your tummy, and it is so
good and yummy....
Here's a packet that will
make a cup...
When you need some warming
up.....
Just add water, nice and
hot, and this drink
should hit the spot....

I'm working on making some cones right now and thought I had a poem for a single serving cone but can't find it (if I ever had one).

I was wondering and hoping if anyone has one. I'd like to use it as a tag for the cones.
Thanks so much!!!

Warm Holiday Mix
by shirleyt@craftsayings.com

Usually cones are freezing
but this one will warm you up.
Just add some hot water
and stir into your favorite cup.

Add a few snowballs and
watch them melt away,
and sit back and dream of
a winter ride on a sleigh.

Throw in a few sprinkles
to reflect in the moonlight.
May it warm your heart
and your holidays be bright!

If you need something warm
or want something nummie

Poems: Cocoa Cones with Red Hots

Author: Deborah the Bzybee
Subject: Cocoa cone poem request

Hi Ladies! I have been sick since I got back from Orlando 10 days ago but Mom came to my rescue and helped me get 40 cones ready and bagged for my show! This year I added to "flavors" with red hots and would like to have a poem for them as Reindeer noses and also one that is Red Hot Cocoa for Red Hot Ladies!

Thanks so much! I have a huge show this weekend and have high aspirations! LOL Last year I sold out of the cocoa cones so I am making more and prepared to make even more depending on how Friday goes!
Hugs!

Do you make these in a certified kitchen? Do you have insurance? I would love to make this too for my craft shows but don't have insurance and just my home kitchen. Thanks.

Thanks Katie!!! these are great!

Well in IDaho I don't think that for things like these that the health regs are quite as stringent! I do these at home and have no insurance. Last year I didn't have any problems!
Hugs!

[> Re: hot chocolate -- arla, 12:48:24 12/05/04 Sun [1]

here's what some people have done in a previous post they sell for about 4.95 by time add up the cost. they use cake decorating bags then tie at top with a rubber band then add a ribbon. hope this helps just layer ingredients in the bag.

noah's ark rainbow cocoa attaching this poem using cocoa mix marshmallows, and tiny m and m's for rainbows and animal crackers\

Remember when the rain came down
And Noah built his ark
He had animals all screeching
Birds tweeting, dogs that bark
He needed to relax a bit
To get his head down low
So he went to bed and there he said
A prayer for a rainbow
Then as he snuggled into bed
Before he went to sleep
Mrs. Noah made him a nice hot drink
This little cocoa treat
(C) Yvonne Lowther 1103

When things don't go right
and you'd like to bark,
remember it was raining
when Noah built the ark.

But he persevered and
saved the critters two by two.
So let this be a lesson
when you're down and blue.

Just calm yourself and ponder
with some of this Noah's cocoa.
Then do what you must do and
bring out a beautiful rainbow!

Instant Hot Chocolate

Author: pc cook
Subject: same request - new question- need poem/saying for instant hot chocolate

Didnt get any responds with the first question, so I decided to try a different route.
Im looking for a poem/saying to go with some cute snowman/christmas mugs, that Im going to put some homemade instant hot chocolate mix in for my co-workers.
We are school cooks. So something along that line would be cute. or about the real meaning of Christmas.
something along the line of: cup of cheer ?????
measure of Gods love?????

thanks girls!
I just love this site.
I just found it about 2 weeks ago and I cant stay off of it.
Still keep the ideas coming, maybe I could use a different verse for each cup.
THANKS

Hi pc cook...is this what you are looking for:

I enjoy cooking and serving
With all of you each day
And so I’d like to thank you
I think I’ve found a way
Here’s a cup of cheer
Some Christmas cocoa in a mug
Consider it my way of giving
Warm Merry Christmas hugs!

This is a little different:

I enjoy cooking and serving
At school every day
I especially enjoy my co-workers
So there's something I'd like to say
Here's a cup of cheer
Some Christmas cocoa in a mug
Consider it my way of giving
Warm Merry Christmas hugs!
© 2003 Jennifer Byerly

Or perhaps it should start out:
I enjoy cooking and working?

Sorry, must have missed your prev post, I usually try to write something if I can, but it's been a bit hectic at the moment with school plays, fairs etc so I haven't been able to catch up. I hope one of these helps.

We cook and slave
Throughout the year
But now we can relax
As Christmas is here
So I hope this gift
In a snowman cup
Will bring you cheer
When you drink it up
© Yvonne Lowther 1203

A Christmas kiss is in here
All wrapped up with a hug
So if you sip it slowly
It will make you warm and snug
Then as it works it’s magic
And you start to go to sleep
Santa Claus will be so happy
As he won’t worry that you’ll peek

Noah Cocoa

Date Posted: 00:25:02 11/22/03 Sat
Author: Deborah the BZYBEE in Nampa, IDaho
Subject: Noah Cocoa

Help poets! I made the cocoa in a cone for my show that is today through sunday! Well it was a huge hit! I had 4 kinds and made cute tags. Of the 24 I made I am down to 4. I went and got more ingredients for the other flavors but I need a different poem for the noah one. I used cocoa mix I made, marshmallows, and tiny m and m's for rainbows. I had a poem about animal crackers but I only sold 2 of those so I want to tweak it. I am calling it "Noah's Rainbow Fun Cocoa" any poem ideas? I have to make more for Tomorrow and Sunday as well as the first week of December show!
hugs!

[> Re: Noah Cocoa -- Deborah the BZYBEE in Nampa, IDaho, 09:51:17 11/24/03 Mon [1]

Nope I am sorry! I think most of the poems other than the Noah Ark Animal cookie and the Santa Ho Ho cocoa were poems I had already in my files and I tweaked them a bit to make them work! Didn't sell as many Sunday as I know I would of on Satureday! Oh well I have another show in 2 weeks!
Hugs!

Noah's Cocoa
by shirleyt@craftsayings.com

Cows, ponies, sheep,
birds, dogs and cats...
He saved two of each
even mice and rats.

For forty days and nights
they stayed on Noah's ark,
and he put up with it all...
every moo, meow and bark.

So have this little tribute
as you sip and thank Noah,
but we can still question why...
did he save the darn mosquito!

Poem: Cocoa Mix with Marshmallows Already In It

Date Posted: 19:25:55 11/20/05 Sun
Author: DonnaJ
Subject: A poem for cocoa with marshmallows already in it

I couldn't find the indiviual marshmallow packages so I bought cocoa with them already in it and made this up to put on my packets. Sorry I can't show you the completed one but it's made with hugware....

Heat up a melted
snowman 6 oz
of him will do it
And add him to the
snowball mix, that's all
there is to it,
Use the cane to stir
in the kisses,
for in the kisses
Love does abide
Now sip it slowly and
you're sure to feel
all warm and
toasty inside.

As you can see I will never be a threat to the poets on this board but it was the best I could come up with

Cocoa Poem + Poem: Snowman Droppings

Date Posted: 18:01:40 11/21/05 Mon
Author: DonnaJ
Subject: another cocoa poem and poem for snowman droppings

I put two Hersheys Kisses and a Hug in with this one along with mini marshmallows. My oldest DGD loved the line about a melted snowman, she asked for a snowman to drink for months afterward.

Empty the packet into the mug
Now add a melted snowman,
hot from the tub.
Now add some kisses and
don't forget the hug.
Now stir it and whirl it around in the mug
Use the "magic" stirring stick
(Yum Yum have a lick)
Now whatever you do
Don't forget to add the snowman poo!
Now try it....come on have a taste
You have to try it, you really do!
It's really quite delicous
even if its not very nutritious!

( To keep the magic sip slowly
and stir occasionally with magic stick)
© DonnaJ 2004

I put the mini marshmallows in a candy tent I made with this poem on it last year.

Snowman Droppings
In the cold of winter...when snow arrives
All the snowmen com alive.
And as they dance around and play.
They leave little droppings along the way.
Round and white, so sweet and light
Eating them is sheer delight
So I gathered them up just for you.
So go ahead have one, better yet
Have two!

Hi Jan
Will this work?
Sue

Santa works very hard
all through the cold night
and although he loves the work
he's frightened of frost bite.
So Mrs. Claus filled him
with a warm and delightful treat
he'll share with you this Christmas
cocoa hot, strong and sweet.

Christmas time has always been my favorite time of year
A time for friends and family and everything that's dear
The wonder of the message always warms me through and through
That’s why I thought this special gift was just the thing to do
So when you serve this cheerful cup of cocoa warm and hot
Remember that true Christmas warmth is nothing that is bought!

Can anyone come up with a short poem for a basket with 2 mugs and cocoa for 2 plus I will have a few Hershey bars in it also and an ornament hanging on the bow. Thanks.

Forgot to mention, I am also putting a votive candle in it for some added warmth and a little warm delight dessert from Betty Crocker.

Pat J.
Have a look - could this help?

It’s a Ho Ho Cocoa Kit for two,
Hershey bars, mugs and cocoa for you!
Adding warmth … a candle and Warm Delight,
They’ll be so cozy on a wintry night!
A hanging ornament tied up with a bow,
Makes this an extra special gift, you know!

Crafty, that is Wonderful---thanks so much. I have a craft show Saturday and finishing up some things that sell really fast---I made 30 hoho and snowman soup and have them all wrapped pretty. Will take pics later. I can't thank you enough for being so quick. Hugs, PatJ
