Here's the poem I used for the Roly Poly Angel..not sure who wrote it (if this belongs to someone can you please let me know so I can add your name to it..thanks!)

Guardian Angel

Hang this little Angel
Somewhere in your home
To provide a welcome resting place,
For Angels as they roam.
May it help remind you
When you look at it each day
That Heavenly help and blessings
Are only a prayer away.

GUARDIAN ANGEL POEM

Date Posted: 00:30:50 07/29/04 Thu
Author: Sue, Tx
Subject: Another Guardian Angel Poem by Shirley Hile Powell

Guardian Angel

God gave us each an angel
To watch over us with love.
They're always carrying messages
To Him in Heaven above.

They warn us during danger,
Encourage us to do what is right,
And will always guard and guide us,
Throughout the day and night.

God sent them to protect us,
When crisis comes our way,
And to aid us with our problems
That we encounter every day.

Thank You, my God in Heaven,
For our Guardian Angels dear.
They're just a token of Your love
To help us overcome life's fears.

GUARDIAN ANGEL SCRIPTURE

Author: Sue, Tx
Subject: Guardian Angel scripture I hadn't read.

My Guardian Angel

Dear Angel ever at my side,
how lovely you must be---
To leave your home in heaven,
to guard a child like me.
When I'm far away from home,
or maybe hard at play--
I know you will protect me,
from harm along the way.
Your beautiful and shining face,
I see not, though you're near.
The sweetness of your lovely voice,
I cannot really hear.
When I pray, you're praying too,
Your prayer is just for me.
But, when I sleep you never do,
You're watching over me.

-- Psalm 91:11-12

Poem: Baby's Guardian Angel

Date Posted: 13:40:53 01/26/06 Thu
Author: Simone
Subject: Need help from artists

I have this neat poem that I would like to glue onto a wooden plaque 7-1/2x2-1/2. It's for my first greatgrand child expected end of April. I've had this poem for some time, don't know who the author is.

Guardian Angel

Sleep little baby
Long in the night.
I'm your guardian Angel
Just keep me in sight.

I'll guard you till morning
Till you're up for the day
Hang me over your crib
And there I will stay.

And when you grow up
And move from your home
Please take me along,
Don't leave me alone.

Hang me over your bed
And when the time comes
Hang me over the crib
Of your little one!!!!

Now what I would like help with is if someone can make a nice border and perhaps a sleeping Angel, anything that you can think of would be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance.
HUGS, Simone

Hi Laurel
Here's one I wrote a couple of days ago.
Sue

Sometimes the road is rocky
and the path is unsure
but God walks beside you
He's holding you secure.
A guardian angel watches
she's with you every day
and when you need her strength
just close your eyes and pray.

Subject: need a poem and prayers

Poets,I have friend that has a daughter,I've known since birth,is in the hospital with depression,I have made her a guardian Angel and I would like to have a poem to go with it.she is 41 and coming slowly back, but the dr.s said it will take more time.So everyone please put this child(woman) in your prayers.I know that prayer works, even if but a small prayer.I feel as close to this girl as I am to my own daughter.
Thank-you from the bottom of my heart.

Hi Sabina,
Perhaps this might help! Crafty Me2

This sweet "Guardian Angel" has been made especially for you,
By a special lady, who's known you from birth and watched...as you grew!
She's here to cheer you up, even when times seem to be at their most blue,
Her job is providing comfort and solace, while you continue to work things through!

Guardian Angel Ideas & Poem

Date Posted: 00:44:24 01/09/08 Wed
Author: Daisy
Subject: Guardian angel

Link to project deleted since Geocities closed down.

I want to make these but I can not find the head what else can I use? A friend found out(Dec 30th) her 4 year old grandaughter has cancer they have taken the kidneys and its in her liver and lungs I want to make this to hang above her bed in the hospital

[> Re: Guardian angel -- Tona, 01:00:23 01/09/08 Wed [1]

I would use either a pearl bead or wooden bead painted white.
The pearl bead I think would be more appropriate with the other materials.
My heart goes out to this family. I can't imagine what they are going through. I will include them in my prayers. Please repost this so others can pray for her also.

[> Re: Guardian angel -- Shirttails, 08:39:11 01/09/08 Wed [1]

My favorite for heads is found in a floral department. It is painted white grapes . These work out so well and when I clip them off the clump, I usually have a small piece of wire to use. I know Hobby Lobby has them. I also find them at Dollar Tree around Christmas. Very Inexpensive and lightweight.

You might be able to use a white styrofoam ball instead...if you wanted you could even cover the ball with some white satin ribbon or material.

Daisy, My heart goes out to that family and little girl as well as my prayers! The angel is beautiful and those are good ideas posted. Another idea would be to use silky fabric gathered around a wad of fiberfill.

I'd like to share a little hanky angel that I made for my 4-year old granddaughter, that is very easy to make.

Guardian Angel

I know you've not been feeling well,
however the doctor knows what to do,
but I'd like to offer a little more help
with this sweet angel to watch over you.
