Subject: Cute Garden Hose Wreaths
Here's a couple of sites for Garden Hose Wreaths. They can be made from an old leaky hose or a new one. I made these a few years ago and they turned out very cute.

That looks like just what I need. I am making a small fence to hide the air conditioner and that would look really good on the fence. The pattern for the fence wants me to cut a grapevine design into the wood and I am very much a beginner and will be doing good to make the fence. So thanks for the wreath.

What a lovely idea, Patty, we have a bar-b-q area on our roof top, no garden!
- it could do with something lively and colourful - I have an old pipe (still from Canada, see I never throw anything away) and now you know where it will go! It will be a great conversation piece for when we have visitors too.

You're welcome, Huskerfan and Doreen! I think that would look great on your small fence, Huskerfan and on your rooftop BBQ area, Doreen! Just perfect and summer-y!
They're not hard to make, but I found that the smaller diameter of the hose, the easier it was, (for me, anyway!) to coil. I think I used 1/2" diameter hose. I wanted mine about a 14" diameter wreath. I incorporated things from both wreaths into one. I also got small, kid-sized garden gloves to use on mine. They came in pretty floral prints and were about $1.00/pair at Wal-Mart.

Thanks for the hints. I will need all I can get after attempting the fence. My dh and dd will be gone for a week and I plan on surprising them when they get back. Cross your fingers. The smaller diameter hose makes alot of sence and so does the smaller gloves. Thanks again. Will let you know but it will be a couple of weeks.
