Scarecrow Kisses
As I was out in the field of corn
I noticed a scarecrow so forlorn.
I asked him why he looked so sad,
That things couldn't be that bad.
He said in a voice soft and low,
I really wish that I could go.
I dream of having someone to hold,
But I'm all alone as I grow old.
So I took him down from the post right then,
And told him he could be my special friend.
Then he gave me a scarecrow kiss
And it tasted sweet, just like this.
So now I share his kisses with you
So you won't ever be alone and blue.

Pumpkin Kisses
This one is animated. Follow directions above. I deleted the black background, but it would work as is on a small bag topper once you made the image large enough to fill the front side.

The Frankenstein I'm using I found last year and did a search for it tonight but it didn't come up. What I have is a picture of his head and I pulled it into paint and colored his lips red using the pencil and paintbrush.

For the ghost kisses I just found a ghost that would work and pasted some puckered red lips on him. You could do that with just about any graphic if you have the programs to work with. I pulled the lips into Publisher and made them real small before pasting them into Paint with my ghost graphic. You have to remember to **uncheck** the Draw Opaque so you can layer the lips onto the image. You could also do this all in PSP (paint shop pro).

I posted the link for the Fishie Kisses above.
I changed that poem a little bit and am doing one for Hunters. I think someone posted above a link to a deer with lips. That's the one I'm using.

I don't think you necessarily have to have an image with them puckered up kissing. Any graphic would work as long as you have the title. If you need anymore assistance, let me know. If you're looking for one I have not mentioned, let me know and I'll help you find one.

Good for you hope you really enjoy your new toy. I guess I'm from the old school, like others mention,I was taught you had to rinse very well before putting in the dishwasher. I thought that was almost as much work as washing them. Oh well, to each his own. All this dish washing stuff is making me tired & I feel like my hands need some soothing lotion. It also reminds me of a little saying I used on my crafts. Goes like this & I don't know who the author was:

I am going through the archives, looking for kiss poems, ideas, etc. There were 330-something posts!! equaling 7 pages. So far I am on page 5.

Remember when you were a kid & gave butterfly kisses? You put your cheek up to another's & 'fluttered' your eyelashes together. I have been organizing my 'kiss' file & noticed there was not a poem for them. I would like to include Hershey's kisses with the poems.

I'm sure you have heard the song "Butterfly Kisses' by Bob Carlsen. One year I found a little golden book with the same title. For Christmas that year her daddy gave this book, a cd and a butterfly to hang on the tree to our daughter. She was 21 at the time and had graduated from college just before Christmas. He signed and wrote something sweet in the book. She felt very special (which she is). Daddy got all the credit, I did all the leg work!

The poems are so cute ! and Wilma's gift idea is great. I always made sure that my DH gave each of my kids a Christmas gift that was especially from Dad ! My Dad did the same thing for his kids too !

What a great idea, Jazbo - your creative juices have been in overdrive lately! Thank you for the idea and KAA for the wonderful poems. Wilma, your post made me smile. Don't you know women always do all the legwork? It's in our job description somewhere I'm sure. I bought that CD when it came out and I'm saving it for possible use at a dgd wedding. At the time it came out, a lot of the brides used that song to dance with their dads - not sure if they still do.

The poems were just right. Thank you, KAA. No, I have not heard of the song. But I will have to look around for it. DGD is still little so I have a little more time. Great ideas!

Turkey Hugs & Kisses

I saw Julie's post and don't remember seeing such a topper, but this board goes so rapidly, it is easy to miss all sorts of stuff! I tried the archives but only found jazbo's great" turkey" works! So, here is my poem and perhaps one of the graphic specialists can come up with a cute topper for us!

Turkey hugs and kisses don't really appeal to me,
But I bagged some up any way, to see if you agree!

Not quite certain what Thanksgiving format you are looking for ? So here's a possibility...

Sailing toward the new world was filled with hardships and culture shock,
So the Pilgrims were most thankful when they landed on Plymouth Rock!
That first Thanksgiving, they had some very unusual things to eat,
But this bag of kisses will help to make your "turkey" holiday complete!
