Thought I would post this in case someone needs it, or would like to help make changes or whatever.....

Snickers-to remind you of all the laughs you had together.

Band-aid-a reminder of the tough times, and how you remedied them.

Date Book-to remind you of all the "Special days" in your life.

Glitter-to keep the sparkle in your life.

Peanuts-after 50 years, a reminder that you can get a little nutty.(change to 25 years)

Rubber band-a reminder to stay flexible.

50 pennies-a reminder of the good "cents" you had to keep a marriage together for all those years.(change to 25 pennies)

Marbles-to replace any you may have lost along the way.

Hugs and Kisses-because you deserve them.

Gold coins-(chocolate) to remind you of your Golden Anniversary.(silver wrapped coins for Silver Anniversary)

Rainbow-a reminder that there is more happiness in store.

Smiley Face- reminder to keep smiling.

Here I am again...asking for help...I am still working on a basket for my mom to give to a lady at church for a 50th anniversary...
I thought I would make it like a survival kit...here is my idea...

Happy Anniversary and
For the Next 50....
Two magnifying glasses in case you have any trouble finding the good things in life..
Two napkins wrapped in gold holder to remind you that even the messes in life can have a gold lining if shared with someone you love..
Some treasures to remind you of all the ones you already have and the ones you have yet to find together..
Tea and cookies to remind you to sit back, relax, and share time with the one you love..
A candle to light any dark times that might come your way..
A pen and some paper so you don't forget to share your feelings..
All packaged in a heart shaped basket to remind you that its your faith in God and the love in your hearts that will see you through...
the next 50 years.

Thanks alot for the poems...and the suggestions...I appreciate the help...Yvonne...you did a good job of tweaking my sayings...I love your poem and was hoping someone would tweak it for me...a poet I am not..LOL!!!
