I don't think they specifically used a cigar box... but that is what sure came to mind when i saw it... they have used inverted candle cups for the base but i think other cool things could be used...

glass marbles if doing a glitzy one
nuts & bolts for an industrial theme
curled silverware (forks) for the feet

Now if you read the cigar box thread you probably have matchboxes too...

- i can see four sets of these little darlings on a little turntable ... real space saver too
- or a really tall chest of drawers in a barbie house
- seed bead caddy
- miniature advent box
- survival kit addition = for when you're feeling boxed in you can let it all out

think i've been up too long???? enough said...
