I've never made them as magnets but Lori Jean made some pins using 1-1/2" wide ribbon. I think she deleted the photo she first showed us. I use 2-1/2" ribbon for ornaments but have made some using 2" wide. That would be a good size for magnets. I guess even the 2-1/2" ribbon would too. I used the 4x6" ziplock craft bags for angel ornaments (2-1/2" wide) with a poem on a topper. Those I donated to one bazaar got handled a lot so I always felt better having them protected a little. I believe they displayed them upright in a basket. Another bazaar hangs all their ornaments on a tree but that wouldn't help for your magnets. Here's a link in archives - scroll through and you'll see lots of poems. They were written for ornaments but there are some that would be equally suitable for magnets. I also think your magnets would look nice on a card.

I dug up a picture taken a few years ago showing the angel in a ziplock bag. I'm not really a tag/topper maker so I often just use a shipping label template. This one is rather plain with no border but I just wanted you to see how they look in the bag.

I have never made them, but as for set up...how about a painted cookie sheet. Then set it up with a large plate stand? Again...never tried it just wanted to throw out the idea.

I am making the angels again this year - from 2 1/2" ribbon. Looks like a small magnet could be glued to the back for a refrigerator.
BTW, I am concerned about protecting ribbon angels when I give them as a gift. I have used a reclosable sandwich bag.
I have also used a card (Joann value pack of 50 cards and envelopes - about $12, but bought with coupon or on sale) with a loop of tape on the back of an angel to hold it in place on the front of the card.
I use a verse at the top like
Each day you are an angel to someone
and at the bottom
Harvest Angel made by "name'
I have thought about using the angel on a card in a bag for vending. The bags could stand, and any handling would be with the top of the bag, rather than handling the angel itself.
I've thought of running the cards through the printer for the sayings. Maybe different sayings.
For example, I gave one to a retiring friend that said
May you reap a nice harvest from your years of hard work.
I used harvest type ribbon and the Harvest Anget... at the bottom. I freehanded the script with a felt pen. But I think the printed script would look better for a craft fair.

If you are looking for a way to display your magnets at a show, try using one of those large decorated metal cans that popcorn come in. The magnets stick great to the outside of the can and you can even store the magnets inside the can for transport to and from the show.
I also have one of those lazy-suzans you use on your dinner table and place the can on it that way the can can be turned so that your customers can see all sides of the can.
I've done this for several years now and it works great!
