Subject: Tourist Survival Bag

Hi Ladies,
We have a small group of ladies who will be coming with their husbands for a meeting. The ladies will be shopping, siteseeing & whatever while the men do their thing.
I though it would be nice if we would give them a Survival Bag. They will be coming from two other states. If you can think of a better name than Tourist or Visitor survival bag please tell me. Thanks for your help

Dog gone it! Forgot to say I need ideas of what I can put in the bags. A senior moment I guess. Hey it's early in the day.
Thanks

I'm sure some of the creative thinkers will offer ideas but, meanwhile, you might check the Survival Kit Archive Board for ideas. In addition to what I'm listing below there is a thread that stays on top of the first page that provides links to other sites offering survival kits.

Here's the link I always refer to when I want ideas for more personalized kits:

Might it be possible to put a few items in that your state is well known for? Example: our locality is known for pretzels?

Also, small 8 or 12 ounce water bottles might be a great addition and if you would like, I can make you a tag to tie on the neck of the bottles with curling ribbon!
My future DIL is making up small baskets to put in the rooms of the bridal party and guests who are staying over; she asked me to created tags like I had for my other DIl's sister's bridal shower to tie on the water bottles!

($ store items)
water bottle to cool off
small notepad; pen or pencil write down where all the bargains can be found
compass (so they won't get lost)
a small sewing kit to fix those last minute emergencies
toothbrush~ http://www.raytechcatalog.com/product_i ... e-172.html
a map of your area (@ your tourist bureau
a list of restaurants or good eateries
List if places to see while they visit

I went to our tourist informastion & they gave me a plastic bag containing brochures of our tourist attractions & some vouchers, when we were hosting visiting tennis players
