Subject: Bowls from old records
I have checked the archives and can't find the directions for making old LP records into bowls. I know they go in the oven, but not sure about the temperature and timing. Can anyone give me some advice?

On the archived link, keep scrolling down when you access the ThriftyFun site. Looks like Joan deleted her picture from Photobucket though.

Hi, I just read this post. I was the one in Utah that made the bowl for my neice, now I have two grand daughters and we just did a 50's diner and made the bowls as favors for all 20 kids with candy and treats in them, I took photos so I will search and then I will upload it for you to see, they were adorable. Just take a 33 1/2 record place over a medium size pyrex put on cookie sheet at 250 for a few minutes, only make one at a time so you can kind of mold it up when you take it out and do not leave for a second they are so fast to make.
