Subject: Pin Dolls

Hi,
Yesterday , On my way home there was a garage sale. I
naturally had to stop. I found a bunch of pin dolls
and want to make some. Apparently some crafter didn't
know they were in there. Lucky for me. Now , does any
one have some ideas and how to cut the material to make
clothes and other ideas. Would make a lovely rainy day
project. It's pouring down.

Ideas: Mini Clothes pegs

Today while browsing in Michael's I came across a box 1" clothes pins, they had gingerbread men, snowmen, star and Christmas trees. Also, had 3 other different boxes with flowers, clouds sun etc. any ideas. They were in the section with wooden items.

Hi Judie,
I can't remember what site I saw this on, but it was really cute. It was a picture of a clothes line with with birds and miniature clothes pins. The miniature clothes pins held little wallet size photos of grandkids. There was actual string on the picture. I'll see if I can hunt it down again.

Thanks Lori Jean I'll have to check that out. I was thinking maybe
putting a couple on a string and adding to Christmas card or tag.

I used mini pegs on birthday card. The card was long & narrow ,a paper "post" was at each end with a "clothes line" of crochet cotton strung between them and HAPPY BIRTHDAY letters cut out of various patterned papers and pinned on the line with the litttle pegs. It was quite a conversation piece then and is still being brought out for show evry so often.
