Subject: Travel/Trip Survival Kit?
Does anyone have any ideas for a survival kit for someone taking a trip this summer? I can only think of a map--so you don't get lost or a compass--so you can find your way back home. Please help.

The journal idea is great. I made this up for you, hope it helps:
As you wander, as you roam
keep this kit at hand,
it will have its uses
as you travel 'round the land.
Some things are practical
others just for fun,
all were packed with love
before your trip begun.
So cheerful travels
enjoy the time away,
we will see you soon
have a Happy Holiday!
Map or Compass - so you never get lost
Postcard of hometown - As Dorothy said Theres no place like home
Disposable Camera - Click and smile
Bottled water - Survive the heat
Suntan lotion - Don't want you to burn
Bug repellent - Buzz off flies
Paper Bag - In case you hyperventilate at the price of souvenirs
Tissues - when you watch romantic sunsets
Sponge - soak up the sun and memories
Smiley Face - never travel without a sense a humour
Clock with the hands removed - Who cares what the time is on vacation?!
Feather - Float through any traffic delays
Chocolate - who needs a reason for this
