Snowman Gravy

Melted Snowman Gravy

Mix the following ingredients in a Ziploc baggie.

  • 1 C sugar
  • 2 T flour
  • 3 T cocoa

Print the Directions for Use here and glue or attach to Ziploc or container.

I made a cute little snowman
And he melted into a big muddle.
Oh how it really broke my heart
To see him in that old dirt puddle!

I couldn't bear to part with him
And I know this sounds crazy,
But I scooped him up into jars
And made him into snowman gravy!

So I'm giving some to all my friends.
Just add milk and pour over biscuits,
And when you savor this, you'll see. . .
It doesn't taste as crazy as it is!

 

Melted Snowman Gravy Recipe

  • 1 C sugar
  • 2 T flour
  • 3 T cocoa
  • 2 C milk

Mix all ingredients in a saucepan.  Cook on medium heat, stirring constantly until it begins to thicken somewhat like regular gravy.  Cool slightly and serve warm over biscuits. Top with butter or cool whip if desired.

Note:  Toast may be substituted but is not quite as good! Store leftover gravy in fridge and eat it cold later like pudding.  You can also serve gravy cold over biscuits.  (Not good reheated.)
