Hoodie Hoo Day is February 20th every year when you go outside and jump up and down yelling hoodie hoo three times to welcome spring and bring out the sun.  LOL Usually a picnic follows.  If the Hoodie Hoo chant doesn't work immediately, you may want to move the picnic inside!  But how about some extra insurance with a Hoodie Hoo Stick!  lol

Children can make these themselves.  Let them brightly decorate a tall potato chip can.  Put some aquarium rocks, beans, rice or whatever inside and glue the plastic lid on.   Shake it while jumping up and down, yelling hoodie hoo, hoodie hoo, hoodie hoo!
