Melting Snowman

  • Attach round Styrofoam ball to the top of the disc, place on a piece of wax paper.  Apply "Snow Accent" over the entire piece, even on the wax paper.  You are trying to give the illusion that the snowman is melting.

  • Break off a small piece of the toothpick, paint orange and insert in the middle of the face for a nose.

  • Press some black beads in for eyes and buttons.

  • Insert two small twigs into the sides for arms.

  • Place hat on top.

  • Write with a black marker "I'll be back again someday!" onto a piece of card stock and glue to the top of a toothpick.  Insert into snow.

  • Allow the snowman to dry completely before removing.

"I'll be back again someday!" Snowman:  Betty shared this melting snowman also.  Write with a black marker "I'll be back again someday!" onto a piece of card stock (approximately 1-1/4" x 1") and glue to the top of a toothpick.  Spray non-stick cooking spray onto a piece of wax paper.  Squeeze a puddle of hot glue about 2" in diameter onto the surface.  While glue is still hot, drop in an orange Sculpy carrot nose (or a piece of toothpick painted orange).  Place small plastic top hat just overlapping carrot nose and scatter five 5mm black beads in the glue.  Stick the toothpick sign into the glue and hold for a short time as glue cools.  Optional:  Dab a bit of decorative snow on the hat and sprinkle with glitter.  Adorable!  This would make a cute winter pin.
