Cow:
Base coat with white or cream acrylic paint. Paint nose with dark flesh tone.
Paint facial features and feet with black. Paint bottom hoofs with dark
flesh tone. Paint black cow spots. Cut a circle of black
felt and slightly smaller white felt for each ear. Glue white onto
black, pinch together and glue to hat. Glue on hat and silk or
dried flowers. For hair, glue a few short pieces of off-white yarn
under hat, above the eyes. Braid a few strands of the yarn for tail.
Pig: Base coat with a pinkish skin tone color.
Paint feet and nose a darker shade. Paint facial features and toes
in black. Cut small ears from flesh colored felt. Glue ears to
hat. Glue on hat and silk or dried flowers. Glue a piece of
jute to back for tail. If desired to curl tail, dip jute in
stiffener, wrap around small dowel and let dry.
Chicken: Base coat with warm white. Paint facial
features, wings and feet in black. Paint beak with a
red/black mix and detail with black. Add white to eyes. Cut
out and glue a red felt crown to hat. Glue on hat and silk or
dried flowers.
