- Prepare and bake a white cake mix
in a 9" x 13" pan following directions on box. Cool in
pan 15 minutes. Poke holes in cake with a large fork at 1/2 inch
intervals.
- Mix a 4-serving size package of any flavor
gelatin with 1 cup boiling water. Stir until
dissolved. Add 1/2 cup cold water.
- Pour gelatin over the cake slowly so that it fills the holes and
seeps into cake. Refrigerate 3 hours.
- Frost with whipped topping such
as Cool Whip. Refrigerate at least one hour before
serving. Serve cold. (15 servings)
